Two Teenagers Killed While Playing Cricket In Chakwal


KALLAR KAHAR: A teenager was crushed to death after he allegedly gunned down another boy after a cricket match, police reported on Monday.

The incident occurred in village Makhial located in the jurisdiction of the Kallar Kahar police.

According to a police reliable, a cricket was arranged within the village on the second one day of Eid.

One of the groups turned into led by Umar Farooq, 18, and the opposite lead by Samiullah Khan, 17. “When the team of Samiullah Khan misplaced the match, the winners started chanting slogans against the losers,” the police stated.

“Mr Khan took out a pistol and shot Umar Farooq. The injured was taken to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kallar Kahar wherein he died.” In the meanwhile, Mr Farooq’s friends and loved ones attacked Mr Khan with bricks, spades and golf equipment and killed him,” sources said.

Police registered a case against 13 persons however no arrest have been made yet.

Samiullah was a student of 9th class in the Government High School Bochal Kalan whilst Farooq was studying at the Government Technical College Thoha Bahadur.
