Russia To Start Work On First High-Speed Train

MOSCOW: Russia will start to construct its first high-speed railway linking Moscow and Kazan in 2018, a top reputable has said.

Alexander Misharin, First Vice-President of Russian Railways, stated in advance this week at a discussion board that the layout of the high-speed railroad might be completed by the end of 2017.

In November 2016, Russian Railways President Oleg Belozerov stated the rail link is planned to enter service through 2022.
